Wild

The last few days have been pretty wild. Monday I hung out with Mom ALL day. We left the house at 11:15 AM and didn't pull into the driveway until 7:00 PM! Normally people would enjoy spending time with their Mom and don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it for the first two hours or so. We went store to store, just shopping. She did take me to BAM but they didn't have what I wanted. After lunch I was ready to go back to the house and just chill. After we finally got home I went over to a friends house around 10 and watched wrestling. It was a 3-hour episode and I was so ready to go to bed. I actually went to sleep while watching it. It was a very boring episode.

Tuesday is when the fun stuff happened. I volunteered at the NWS-CHS from 9 AM to 330 PM! All I did was just shadow a forecaster but it was pretty cool to see how they forecast. Pretty close to how we did it in Synoptic class. During our lunch break I checked my e-mail and facebook and stuff. I received an e-mail from the Department of Navy saying that I my application for Oceanographer was transferred to the hiring officer! This was great news as this means I am one step closer to getting an actual adult job. I believe I have a very good chance in getting this job. After volunteering I just chilled around the house looking forward to a new NCIS.....only problem was there was a replay that night. Ugh. Went to bed pretty early.

Wednesday I got up and cut the grass. After that I worked on the RBC homecoming video. Pretty simple video but it gets the point across. Then went up to the church and to do regular Wednesday activities. There were a few things that bothered me though. A will write a post about it next. After that I went back home and just relaxed.

Today consisted of my cousin's birthday. I started to hang out with around 1 and left about 5 to eat dinner with my Dad and Grandpa at Cracker Barrel. yum! I went to the mall and spent too much money. Bought two comic books, a DVD, and a t-shirt. Now I am writing some blog posts, sipping on sweet tea and watching wrestling.

Doesn't sound so wild but trust me, when you go from doing nothing each day to four full days of activities, it seems very wild.
