Small Things

As mentioned before life is a roller coaster and is full with highs and lows. We get distracted by change, busyness, the big things in life and over look the small things in life.....at least I do. I have a few small things this past week that have brighten my days! We ordered Wrestlemania 27 and I cannot wait for it! Throughout the country all week there have been press conferences, events, and news. I have been following it all closely wishing I was there for some of the events. On Sunday, Braden and I will be watching it, sporting our wrestling t-shirts and cheering for our favorites. Speaking of t-shirt, I ordered an Undertaker shirt this week and it is being delivered tomorrow! Tonight I watched my first live episode of Grey's Anatomy and it was tokened as Grey's Anatomy: The Music Event. It was pretty amazing! There were about 6-7 songs and they were all [except one] featured on the show in previous seasons during important moments of the storyline. I really liked how they linked the current episode [which featured a main character who was pregnant, in a bad accident] to previous songs, and to what was going on in the episode. I think it was a little rushed as it was only an hour, and it could off been extended to two hours. The episode also featured multiple actors/actresses singing which was pretty neat. The actress who plays the character who was in the accident, has gotten a Tony Award for singing on broadway! Oh the small things....

Roller Coaster Ride

Life is like a roller coaster! So much that a Christian band wrote a song called Ride of Life:

Good times...

I haven't really talked about the funny moments from the DC trip, and believe me when I say that there are tons of them, but I would like to mention just one....my favorite one from the whole trip.

The train ride took roughly 19 hours one way to complete. On the way up there we were not prepared at all! The ride back though we decided to try something. Erin, Savannah, and me thought it would be a good idea to get some Tylenol PM to help us fall asleep. We got some at Union Station and boarded the train at around 6:30 PM. At around 8:30 PM Ainsley asked for some and then everybody started to ask for some. We had 13 people go with us and out of those 13, 7 of us took some of the drugs. Few of us didn't take ours until later but Erin, Ainsley, Morgan, and Zeb took it then. Erin decided she would try to fight it and Ainsley and her were hilarious.

Ainsley suggested that I take video of them, and anybody who knows me, knows that I jumped on that opportunity immediately. So I give you the two videos of them on Tylenol PM...

NOTE: This is raw, unedited video. What you see if the real thing.

Good times....

Nasty Cruddy Junk!

Pollen - yellow stuff that comes around every spring and messes with people's health and makes cars all look yellow!

Well folks [I have been around Dr. B too much] its that time of the year, when the pollen, like a legion of roman soldiers, attack humanity and make us all miserable! I was going strong against the attack but due to lack of sleep my defenses fell and it has taken over! I woke up this morning with a soar throat and it got worse as the day progressed. I took a two hour nap and now fixing me some soup.

After I eat and do a few things I'm going to take some Tylenol PM and go back to bed!

Stupid pollen!

Suspicious

Do you ever get that feeling that something is going on and it is clear that something is going on, but you don't know whats going on? [Wow..........could that been any more confusing????]
The point is that I have that feeling right now! I know of things happening and I believe they are related but I'm not sure how and no one is talking.
Yea.....just needed to express this.

Work

I'm not sure if I have posted anything about this on the blog before....so if I did, my bad...

About four weeks ago I put in my two week notice at the bookstore. There were several reasons on why I did this and there is no reason to mention those but they were pretty legit excuses! Overall it was time for a change. Well the two weeks passed and I came to my last day at work and I ended up working the whole day which is cool with me, one last big pay check before I leave. However my boss brought up a proposition that I couldn't pass. She offered that I still be an employee with the store but only work outside events [athletic events, USA day, etc]. I said yes!

So I am still employed with the bookstore but I pretty much choose the events I want to work, which is very nice. I have so much more free time than before and more time to work on school work [hence why I have been blogging so much]. If you look at it a certain way this was a promotion. In the store we get paid $7.25 but for outside events we get paid $7.74.....so I only work for $7.74 now :D I love loops holes!

I haven't worked in the past two weeks due to spring break and such but this week I am/have working the baseball, softball, and spring football games.

Yep, I must say that the work life is good...
